Using Ono’s fictitious 1971 MoMA exhibition “Museum Of Modern (F)art” as a departure point and inspiration, the catalogue documents her early work through the use of three main content and graphic devices: artworks accompanied by descriptions, Ono’s writings, and press clippings. Each chapter is divided into a different time period and introduced by a new author, along with essays by Julia Bryan-Wilson, Klaus Biesenbach, and Christophe Cherix. Published by MoMA.
